I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season! December of 2017 will soon be a thing of the past, but before it’s gone for good, here are a few things that have caught my attention this month.
Finish by Jon Acuff. I’m prepping to crush my goals in 2018, by reading a handful of personal development books. I’m usually great at creating and starting New Year’s resolutions, but I’m awful with my follow through. That’s where Finish comes in. This year, I am giving myself the “gift of done”.
Ed Sheeran’s album, Divide. Specifically, the most beautiful ballad of all time, Perfect. I danced to Thinking Out Loud at my wedding and I thought nothing could ever beat it, but then Sheeran wrote Perfect and sang it in Italian. *swoon*
New Year’s Eve and the resolutions that follow. This time of year is exciting for a planner girl. I have new and untouched planners to dive into. Right now, I am trying to decide what my word will be for 2018 and I’m also trying to narrow down my goals to three areas of my life. I’m looking forward to sharing more about this with you in another post. Keep a lookout for my 2018 planning system and the goals I will be working towards in the next year.
Fuller House. The second half of season three recently went live on Netflix. I’m not a diehard fan, but since I grew up watching Full House, it does make me a little nostalgic to watch Fuller House and all the old characters brought back to life.
Donut Shop Holiday Buzz is high up on my favorites list right now. I add some Stevia and Peppermint Mocha creamer to create the perfect morning beverage!
My family. This past weekend was full of good times with mine an my husband’s families. I am so thankful that we live near our parents and siblings, so that we are able to spend time with them over the Holiday season.
A cozy scarf. The temps have dropped quite a bit in the last couple of weeks and I am a very cold-natured person as it is. I am rarely leaving the house, these days, without a thick scarf. It’s even better if it’s a buffalo plaid print.
Motivated. I’m ready for the new year and new possibilities to come my way. So long 2017, it’s been nice knowing ya!
